CANDLE STICKS

These things really are candle "sticks." My wife saw them on Martha Stewart and wanted a set for home. We live on a wooded lot so finding a limb that was small enough to be cut with the table saw and large enough to bore out for a tea candle was relatively easy.

It is not imperative that the top or bottom cuts be perfectly square to the branch or parallel to each other. Once the pieces are glued together they set steady on a flat surface, kind of like a three legged stool.

The holes for the candles were drilled using a Forstner bit.
